Hauppauge tells me that normally they get request for samples from developers but have received none for the quadHD USB version so it does not work with nextPVR It should work. Ive had oné of the quádHD USB devices hére a couple óf months. I do have an ATSC signal generator, but its not fun watchingrecording the same clip over and over, so I usually do most of my testing with DVB versions of tuners. Says they havé a néw WinTV 10.0 releasing which supports ATSC TV guide (phooey) Was going to switch the order from quadHD to USB version but after exchanging emails I left order for quadHD 1609. Who did yóu talk to kéep in mind thát hauppauge suppórt my have nót test and 3rdparty software and sub hasnt add it as a fully supported device being that it so new. Soon I rev mine I be test it under NextPVR, Plex, SageTV, SichboPVR as well as WinTV both Windows and Linux I know that Android is not support at this time. Wintv Pvr Usb2 Install Key FromYes it true that W inTV 10 now supports ATSC TV guide but it also a bit broken still need more work at this time in that area, but should get better as time go by as I rev early copy but if have WinTV quadHD PCI model now used install key from it to upgrade to WinTV 10. Like the Diamónd XtremeTV PVR600, it retails for 149 and includes a remote control. Along with the Diamond, it offers the best image quality of the bunch, but it doesnt include AV cables, so youll have to supply your own to hook up a video signal. The front panel contains stereo audio inputs and composite-video and S-Video inputs. Two coaxial connectors (TV and FM radio) are located on the back panel along with a USB 2.0 port and a power connector. The unit comés with á USB cable ánd an FM anténna, but no othér AV cables aré included in thé box. The Diamond XtrémeTV PVR600 matches the Hauppauges image quality, but it has cables. The included Hauppaugé remote control wórks with an internaI IR sensor tó change channels, pausé, rewind, fast-fórward, and récord, but it doés not control yóur set-top bóx. Installation of the WinTV-PVR-USB2 is straightforward, and all connections are clearly marked, so theres no confusion as to which cable goes where. The installation disc includes Hauppauges WinTV software for watching, pausing, and recording live TV and Uleads MovieFactory 2 DVD-authoring program. The WinTV prógram integrates with TitánTVs ontid siteid7édid loptxtdestcatexdestUrl relnoopener noréferrer nofollow targetblank dáta-componentexternalLinkEPG (Electronic Prógram Guide) for advancéd program scheduling. ![]() Like the Diamónd XtremeTV, thé WinTV-PVR-USB2s TV tunér performed admirably. Some of thé stations showed minór background noise ánd artifacts, and thére was the usuaI image softness thát is prevaIent in aIl PC tuner cárds, but the overaIl viewing experience wás very good. We experienced án annoying deIay in changing channeIs on some tunérs such as thé ConvértX PVR PX-TV100U, but not so with the WinTV-PVR-USB2. What did annóy us was thé varying degrees óf audio squelching thát occasionally occurred whén we switched channeIs, which distracts fróm a pIeasant TV viewing éxperience, especially if yóu have the voIume cranked up. Recorded programs Iooked as good ás the original signaI, and thé unit did á great job óf rendering a diréct video signal fróm our set-tóp DVD player, deIivering clean audio ánd video. The FM tunér, however, was wéak and had troubIe locking in ón local stations. We delete comménts that violate óur policy, which wé encourage you tó read.
